This jian belonged to the king of State of Chu in the period of Warring States. The overall condition is good. Rust patterns of different colours are found all over the jian. The blad is very sharp. There are eight gold ancient Chineses characters "ming" on one side of the blade stating the owner of this jian.

There are precious stones inlaid on both sides of the guard. Coaxial rings are found at the pommel.

The jian was unearthed with its scabbard which is made of wood and bound with silk thread. There should be a jade piece at the end of the scabbard but is now missing. The handle of jian was also found bound with silk thread but is now becomes loosened.

This jian is still very hard and stiff. To conclude, this is a very high quality jian.

This bronze jian is of Wu Yue standard in Warring States Period. The overall condition is very good. The whole jian is in black with fine and beautiful gold rhombic pattern. The blade is just very sharp.

The blade is quite wide and thick. Yet it is quite well-balanced. To conclude, this is a very high quality jian.
