There are precious stones inlaid on both sides of the guard. Coaxial rings are found at the pommel. The jian was unearthed with its scabbard which is made of wood and bound with silk thread. There should be a jade piece at the end of the scabbard but is now missing. The handle of jian was also found bound with silk thread but is now becomes loosened. This jian is still very hard and stiff. To conclude, this is a very high quality jian. |
