It is long but not too heavy. The blade is rather thin and with flexibility. The overall condition of this sword is good. The blade is still sharp and it shows some forge lines after simple cleaning and polishing. All parts of the jian are original. There is a lion pattern on the guard. The handle is covered with shark skin. The scabbard is made of fine wood while the copper fittings on it show orchide pattern. To conclude, this is a simple long jian for wu shu practising. It is rare of its length and condition. |
