This is a long dao of Ming or Qing Dyansty. The quality is pretty good as the blade is still sharp and the blade surface is straight and smooth. Some forge lines can even be seen.

The handle is long and curved outwards so that when used with both hands, the momentum can be increased and cutting action is facilitated. The dao is quite heavy, yet using it with single hand is just good as the balance point is quite near to the guard (about 1/5 the length of blade). All parts of the dao are original, but the scabbard is restored recently.

This is a quite well preserved bronze jian of Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. The overall condition of this jian is good although rust tint of various colours is found over the jian. The blade is still sharp.

This is a jian of Wu system. As judged from the guard and the quality, this jian should be used by very high-rank official. On the guard, beautiful gold corn and cloud patterns are still seen. Gold cloud patterns are seen at the pommel. Gold lines are also found on the rings on the handle. This jian is still very hard and stiff. To conclude, this is a very high quality jian.
