這是保存比較好的長青銅劍，銹蝕很少，劍刃仍鋒利。 劍屬於春秋戰國時吳劍制式，從長度及劍格形制看，此應是將領的佩劍；劍格紋飾精緻，本應鑲有綠松石或其他寶石。劍刃和劍脊的顏色有些不同，顯示不同的物質成份。劍首有清晰環紋。 This is a very well preserved bronze jian of Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. The overall condition of jian is very good and there is very little rust. The blade is still sharp. This is a jian of Wu system. As judged from the guard and the length of jian, this jian should be used by official of higher rank. There should be jades or precious stones in the guard but now are missing. There are coaxial rings at the pommel. |

劍屬於春秋戰國時吳劍制式，劍格有獸紋飾，從劍格形制看，此應是士兵頭領將領的佩劍。 劍塗了類似黑漆古塗料，非常有助防銹，所以劍保存得很好，依然非常鋒利。劍的另一面的黑漆被磨去後，可見原來銅色。劍刃和劍脊顯示是不同的物質成份。 This is a very well preserved bronze jian of Wu system in the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. There are animal patterns in the guard. This jian is of medium length. As judged from the guard and the length of jian, this jian should be used by official of medium rank. The whole blade is covered by a kind of black lacquer which helps to preserve the jian. This lacquer has been cleared at other side of the blade and the original bronze colour is seen. The blade of this jian is quite broad and thick. |
