The blade is of quite high quality and mint condition. Although there is some rust, the forge patterns and hamon can clearly be seen. The blades are very sharp too.

The blade, scabbard, guard, copper fittings and pommel are original. The scabbard is covered with shark skin. This is only a common jian used by common intellect; yet this is a piece of fine art.

The blade is of fine condition, a bit heavy and thick.

All parts of the jian are original and of quite high quality. The scabbard is covered with a whole piece of copper sheet with fine perforated patterns embedded in the wood surface. The guard is of dragon pattern. The handle is made of wood.
