由戈和戟演變而來，可單手使用的多刃帶鉤的兵械，起源可追溯至春秋戰國時期。
古代戰場上用鉤者頗多。西晉時，英勇善戰的冉閔，就"左操雙刃矛，右執鉤戟，以擊燕兵，斬首三百餘級"(見《通鑒·記事本末》)。
此戟鉤由鉤、刃、月牙護手、鑽等四部分組成，屬於多刃兵器，使用難度大。此戟鉤製作嚴緊精美，整體刃薄而鋒利，顯現反覆鍛打造成的漂亮刃紋，手柄裹以鯊魚皮。
此戟鉤製作時期不詳，可能是晚清至民初。看手柄另加皮革卷包，粗糙但實用，執拿穩當，便知曾經使用或演練。

The use of hook halberd in war field can be dated back to Spring-Autumn and Warriors Periods. This is a multi-blade weapon and is always difficult to use. It is made up of four parts: hook, straight blade, crescent and drill, all are sharp-edged.

This pair of hook halberds are in very good condition. Beautiful forge patterns can be easily seen. Probably they were forged with high-level craftsmanship in late Qing Dynasty. The handles are covered with shark skin.
